Describe your first pony:

My first pony was a welsh mountain pony that I competed in the show ring, our first A&P Show he got spooked and spun me off the side and I was dragged the entire length of the show ground, luckily no injuries and yes I got back on!

Describe your riding history and achievements:

I started riding at 7 years old attending pony club and A&P shows, over the years I have worked in the TB racing industry, Polo in NZ, Australia and England. Whilst I was in England I was lucky enough to be employed by the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace as a ceremonial rider and carriage driver, when my visa expired I returned to New Zealand and focused on starting young horses, training Dressage and Show horses.

My biggest achievements would be winning Show Rider of the year in 2017 and most recently winning the Preliminary Championship at NZ Horse of the Year and Nationals in 2014 of my self produced mare Fursachie.

What are your ambitions:

To keep producing quality horses through the levels and to compete Grand Prix.

What do you require from your horse feed?

I look for a feed that gives my horses enough energy whilst keeping them trainable and looking in top condition and health.

My go to feeds are Prydes East Going and Prydes East Sport with added Polished and Rebuild if required. Another great feed I use is Prydes East Result that comes in handy in the competition season when we need a little more power from our horses, it’s also great for fussy eaters.
