Describe your first pony

A cute Gypsy Cob cross called Tonto, who we originally bought as a fun horse, as I wasn't sure if I wanted to be competitive in show jumping at that stage.

Describe your riding history/achievements

My first horse, Tonto taught me so much, and we went on to be quite successful in show hunter, winning the North Island Secondary Schools Show Hunter Championships two years running!

We sold Tonto to another young rider at the beginning of 2018, and this is my first season on my new horse, Le Bam. Bam has given me a lot of confidence, and we have been competing successfully with consistent placings and a win at the 1.20m level. We have also had a go at our first Young Rider series class.

What are your ambitions?

I hope to follow in my sister Nicola's footsteps, and compete at World Cup level in the next couple of years, but for now my focus is the ESNZ Young Rider Series.

What do you require from your horse feed?

Feeding your horse correctly is so important, and when we moved here from Singapore, we put our horses straight onto Pryde's EasiFeed, and have never had a problem with their weight, health or happiness. It is so easy for people to over supplement their horses, but with access to such a wide variety of feeds and products, as well as having certified nutritionists to help you every step of the way, you can never go wrong!
